Lawyer and Founder of Danquah Institute, Gabby Otchere Darko has said that the Audit Service Board will do itself some good if it could focus its attention only on the matter of age in its ongoing brouhaha with the Auditor General, Daniel Domelevo, if indeed he filled the SSNIT forms in question.
He noted it was unacceptable to question the astute civil servant’s citizenship 60years after he was born and known in the country
Mr Octchere Darko made the comment in a twitter post sighted by GhanaPlus.com on Wednesday, March 3, 2021.
“After 60 years, to now question the citizenship of a man born here and known to have no other passport but Ghanaian is not kosher. The Audit Service Board will do itself some good by focusing on the age issue, if indeed the man himself wrote on SSNIT forms he was born in 1960,” his tweet reads.

Mr Daniel Domelevo’s nationality and date of birth is being challenged by the Audit Service Board after completing his mandatory 167 leave which ended on Tuesday, March 2, 2021.
According to the board, per information provided by the Auditor General at the Social Security and Insurance Trust(SSNIT) years ago he was supposed to have retire in June last year.
Per the same information, the board said he was believed to be a Togolese and not a Ghanaian.
