Bishop Daniel Obinim Hospitalised

The health condition of Bishop Daniel Obinim, Head Pastor of International God’s Way Church has begun to deteriorate.

According to Louis Yiadom Kwakye, Counsel for the Pastor told the Kaneshie court that “My Lord, we apologise for the absence of A1 (Bishop Obinim) for during his trip from Kumasi this dawn, his condition worsened and we had to take him for medical attention”.

He was to appear before Rosemond Buodu, the presiding magistrate, along with two accomplices on the count of forgery.

The two accomplices were present when the case was called but Obinim was absent.

The counsel for Daniel Obinim told the court that due to the health condition of his client, he was not able to appear before the court.

Mr. Yiadom informed the court that Bishop Obinim should be present before the court on the next date, being December 17.

The prosecutor, Detective Sergeant Richard Amoah noted that the accused was always present in court since the beginning of the case as such “we are obliged by their plea”.
