Bossplay has been crowned the best brass band group in Ghana after winning the Westside Carnival brass band competition.
The maiden edition of the brass band competition lived up to its expectation as it entertained and exposed the various brass band groups to the public.
15 groups competed for the crown and Bossplay came out first taking away the ultimate price of GHS5,000 and souvenirs from Ebony Condoms, the sponsors of the completion.
Three judges sat for the competition and scored the groups according to how best the could compose the official Ebony song, Westside Carnival song and a song of their own choice.
West Harmonic Band was the first runner up in the competition as they also walked home with cash price and souvenirs from Ebony condoms.
The Westside Carnival biggest Day is the 26th of December which is climaxed with a masqueraders fashion parade comes off with a thrilling performance for Ghana hiplife legend, Obrafour and Adina as well.
