Christian Devine Church at war again over General Secretary position – Skyy Power FM
Crises in the Christian Divine church known in the public circles as “Taylor” seems not to end anytime soon since their General Secretary, Apostle Ebenezer Boahen decided not to vacate the seat and go on retirement when his term of office expired about 2 years ago.

Some documents sighted by skyypowerfm.com indicates that Apostle Boahen who finished serving his to term of office (4 years per term) as Chairman or General Overseer per the constitution of the church is still holding on to power as the Chairman of the church creating a lot of issues for the church leadership.
You will recall that some senior members of the church even hurled Apostle Boahen before court for what they describe as “unconstitutional and usurpation Chairmanship of the Church.”
In a recent development, letters written by the embattled acting general secretary asking some senior pastors of the church in Dunkwa to meet the disciplinary committee of the church to answer questions on why they have failed to hold branch elections has become a major confrontational issue that the church leadership will have to deal with.
This is because according to the senior pastors they see the acting general secretary Pastor Awuah as an illegal general secretary since he was unconstitutionally and single-handedly appointed by their overstayed chairman Apostle Ebenezer Boahen and therefore has no right to call himself as the acting general secretary of the church for the Dunkwa branch.
In an intercepted voice call we hear one of the pastors of the church identified as Rev Kesie telling Pastor Awuah to parading himself as general secretary of the church for the Dunka branch and such stop writing letters to them directing them what to do because those instructions will not be carried out at their local churches since they do not regard him as such.
Below is a copy of the letter from Rev Awortwe and voice audio from Rev. Kesie, informing Pastor Awuah to stop the unconstitutional letters he has been writing to them.

STOP UNCONSTITUTIONAL LETTER WRITING
Pastor Awuah who authorized you to write this unconstitutional letter to the Pastors. I have been telling you on several platform that, you are not the Ag. General Secretary to the church. So stop posting those illegal letters to the pastors because we are a serious church.
Awuah, I think you have not read, the constitution. Let me educate you. The constitution which is the governing body of the church does not permit one person to appoint Ag. General Secretary. So your position is unconstitutional. So stop that arrogance and respect the constitution. Pastor Awuah behold, I am a law abiding citizen, so I believe in rule of law. So stop that. Do not write such unconstitutional letters to the Pastors again because we are serious minded Pastors.
Pastor Awuah did you remember that, when former General Secretary Enyan died, the Pastoral and Executive Council came together to exercise their constitutional right to elect me as an Acting General Secretary and Ekow Dadzie took me to court, and the case is still pending at court of appeal.
Now Apostle Boahen, whose term of office has expired since 28th January, 2021, and he alone has got courage to appoint Awuah as an Acting General Secretary, it is funny and ridiculous, it looks like we are running autocratic church. I am telling you people that Christian Divine Church is democratic and constitutional church. So you can never take the law into your hand and do whatever you like. So pastors don’t take Pastor Awuah serous, he is not Acting General Secretary today, tomorrow and ever. Pastor Awuah and his boss Apostle Ebenezer Boahen must sit down to find the definition of General Secretary so ignore the letters he has written.
Thank you.
Yours faithfully,
Rev. O.S. Awortwe
