Condemn South Africa, it will be the hub for the next world - Yamin tells International Community

The former Deputy Minister for Youth Sports, Joseph Yammin has called on the international community to condemn the attack on citizens of other African countries by South Africans.

According to him, the attack was becoming one too many and if not addressed would soon be the means to the next world war to befall the world.

“The international community should come and condemn the actions of South Africa, is becoming one too many and if we don’t take care the next world war will start from that angle. Because if you kill a Ghanaian and a Ghanaian want to do that, before we will realize it will move from citizen to citizen and from state to state,” he said.

Mr Yammin made the comment on Pan African Television on Wednesday, July 14 monitored by Ghanaplus.com.

Riot in South Africa is a Xenophobic attack

He explained it was becoming clear the South African media was being cautious with their reportage so not to jeopardize the image of the country; however, what was happening was a xenophobic attack on fellow Africans.

He quiz what the role of immigrate were in the imprisonment of the former South African President that, they and their properties had to bear the wrath of the citizens of the country adding that the development can never be a riot in support of the former President imprisonment .

“……..this, I think is an opportunity for the South Africans to perpetrate that same actions on individuals but this time round would not get same tag as a xenophobic attack. So if you go in there what role has an immigrate  has in the incarceration of a former President that my store or myself will have to be attacked by citizens of the nations who have the right to vote for a President or vote against the president  and they are demonstrating at an act of the government”.

“To me, it is just what we know about the South Africans that they are not happy with  other country citizens coming into their country because they think the job that they are suppose to be doing, the immigrate have taken over,” he added.
