Don’t always listen to advice – The OKS tells daughter on her 11th birthday

Celebrity couple, Mr and Mrs Kwame Nsiah-Appau, better still Mr and Mrs Okyeame must definitely has a different mindset about parenting and raising their children in modern day Ghana.
The couple contrary to what is known of African parents wanting their children to always be obedient and heed to advice, the couple had advised their daughter, Shanti Nsiah-Appau to do the contrary sometimes.
Mr Nsiah-Appau, popularly known as Okyeame Kwame in the Ghanaian music circles in an Instagram post to celebrate his little princess’ 11th birthday on September 27 advised her to among other things follow her instinct and not always listen to advice.
In the post sighted by GhanaPlus.com, the proud father of two advised his only daughter also not to be under pressure to please anyone or even him, her father but please only herself while on her life journey on earth.
The Faithful hitmaker wrote “Awww words fail me! My beautiful, intelligent, happy daughter @santensiahapau , 11 years in this world is no joke! You’ve been in this world for 4015 days and it is safe to assume that by now you know that there’s pain in life, but there’s so much more love.
Let this new year bring you closer to the love of self, others and nature!
Sante Abena Antwiwaa Nsiah-Apau, today I promise you that there’s no pressure on you to impress me or anyone!
Impress yourself if you must! But by all means be you! As you are growing, I want to tell you the truth: DON’T ALWAYS LISTEN TO ADVICE!

The renowned musician’s wife, Annica Nsiah-Appau also took to Instagram to celebrate her, echoing her husband’s advice to their princess.
According to her, following her instinct will lead her to who she is to become in the near future.
She wrote “My bobo Shanti ❤️ I so love u is an understatement! I created this slideshow using the song by @jax because it’s your very favorite and you played it to me and ensured that I liked it before u left 😹. Now and everyday you should know you are royalty❤️.
