Driver who killed two teenagers in Takoradi was drunk



On Tuesday evening, November 23, at about 7 pm, two young promising teenage girls lost their souls to an alleged drunk driver who could not control his vehicle as they were on a mission to win souls for Jesus Christ.

According to witnesses at the scene, the victims, Abigail Quaicoo, 16, and Gloria Quaicoo, 14, including two adult female church members of the Church of Pentecost in Ntankorful were preaching at Kansarodo when the driver skidded off the road to crash into the four women who were standing on a pavement closer by the highways.

Fortunately, the two adult females survived the crash and were discharged on that very day from the Effia Nkwanta Hospital but Abigail Quaicoo and her sister could not survive the fatal crash.

Witnesses who were at the scene told Skyy Power 93.5FM that they suspected the driver to be drunk as they could smell alcohol from his body during the process of rushing all the victims to the hospital.

Mr Quaicoo, the father of the victims told Skyy Power FM that the family of the driver has approached him and both families are looking forward to the best possible way whiles the driver has since been in an unconscious state.
