Ellembele MP in police grips for alleged traffic offence



The Member of Parliament (MP) for Ellmebele, Mr Armah Kofi Buah is in the grips of the Ghana Police Service for an alleged traffic offence.

In a statement released by the Ghana Police Service, the MP committed a road traffic offence when he was sighted driving in the middle of the road. He was stopped and arrested by the Airport Police Division of the MTTD on 3rd March.

The MP was driving a Toyota Land Cruiser with registration number GR 3533 – 20.

According to the police, the MP failed to cooperate when he was taken to the station to be processed for court and drove away leaving his driver’s license at the station.

The MP reported back to the station on Friday, March 4, after the Airport Police Command contacted him with a telephone and asked him to report himself to be processed for court.
