Essikado-Ketan is fastest growing constituency in Sekondi-Takoradi – Joe Ghartey – Skyy Power FM

The Member of Parliament (MP) for Essikado-Ketan Constituency Mr. Joe Ghartey says his constituency is the fastest growing in the Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolis.
Speaking on UTV’s Mpu ne Mpu program on Thursday, the Aspiring presidential candidate on the ticket of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) said his numerous project done across the constituency is a testament to his hard work, from schools, roads, public toilets, CHPS compounds, astro turfs, markets and community centres.
He said this development and many others in the pipeline have made the Essikado-Ketan constituency the fastest-growing in the Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolis.
He said, “The MPs do not have the direct resources to develop, but I have done massive developments in my constituency from the first community, Sofokrom, I was instrumental in building schools there and the community centre that is 90% complete”
“The next town is a town called Mpintsin, there are schools there I have facilitated including markets, roads and public toilets… Inchaben Nkwanta community got its first school when I became MP. in Eshiem we have built schools and public toilets, in Ntarmakrom we have built schools there, in Enoe, CHPS compound and public toilets have been built there.”
“I have built 3 astroturfs in my constituency, from Fijai, Essikado and one other community, we continue to build including satellite campuses for universities making it the fastest growing constituency in Ghana.”
He said before he became an MP there was no road connecting the two major towns, that’s Kojokrom and Essikado and it was under his tenure he constructed major roads in the constituency including the linkage of these two towns.
