Hundreds of parents and guardians this morning flooded the GES resolution centre at Sekondi to seek placement for their children who failed to gain placement by the computerized system after their Basic Certificate Examination.
Following the disparities in computer placement, most of those who could not find their names tagged to any senior high school in the country for that matter any of their choice of school were asked to do self-placement which has also proven futile for most of their students.
Lamenting to Skyy News’ Alex Tagoe, they admitted that their names cannot be found in the system whereas others who found their names in the system were unsuccessful with the self-placement.
Meanwhile, there was a relatively calm situation at most of the Senior High Schools within the Sekondi Takoradi Metropolis this morning.
Parents were with their wards that have been placed in various schools to finalise the process for their children to be accepted into the school. some parents spoke to Skyy News.
