Lawyer Fiifi Buckman kicks out Ing. Kwofie Pinto at the vetting stage – Skyy Power FM
The 2020 unopposed NDC parliamentary candidate for Kwesimintsim Philip Fiifi Buckman (Esq) who could not secure the seat for the party on Tuesday 5th April 2023 successfully kicked-out Engineer Frank Kowfie Pinto from the contest securing for himself another unopposed slot to contest the NPP for the Kwesimintsim seat in the upcoming 2024 general election.

Philip Fiifi Buckman (Esq) and Ing Frank Kwofie Pinto successfully filed their nominations to contest the upcoming NDC parliamentary primaries in the Kwesimintsim constituency but Ing Frank Kwofie Pinto was disqualified based on a litany of petitions against him and his candidature.
Briefing the media on the sidelines of the vetting at the party’s headquarters in Sekondi, the Western Regional Communications Director for the NDC Richard Kirk-Mensah indicated that when the vetting committee verified the information against Ing Pinto, that he has not been an active member of the NDC party for the stipulated four years as stated in the guidelines being used for the upcoming parliamentary candidate elections they had no choice but to disqualify him.

Secondly, there was strong evidence that Ing Frank Kwofie Pinto in 2018 contested for the position of Nasara Coordinator in the NPP Shama constituency which according to them he denied but the petitioner provided his close contender in that race to testify in person against Ing. Pinto which they explain he could not deny again so he was out-rightly disqualified from contesting giving Lawyer Philip Fiifi Buckman the leverage to stand unopposed.
Addressing his support base in front of the Regional party office in Sekondi, disgruntled, Ing. Pinto said he will be contesting the decision to disqualify him at the national level thereby assuring his followers not to give up else they will vote “skirt and blouse” for JDM in the Kwesimintsim constituency.

Meanwhile, Lawyer Fiifi Buckman told Skyy News, Patrick Ennimil Arthur that the “Kay-Class Agenda” lingers on regardless calling on all delegates and party faithful to remain calm for victory in 2024.
“I told my people that darkness can never triumph over light and the evidence are bear for all to see. I urge the party faithful’s and delegates in Kwesimintsim to continue to uphold peace and tranquility in the party since the real enemy is unemployment and the incompetent President Nana Addo and his MP, Prince Hamid Armah”.
He entreats the party fateful’s to go all out and give John Mahama a resounding victory in the 2024 general election and ensure that they secure the Kwesimintsim parliamentary seat for the NDC with him Fiifi Buckman as their MP.
