Media General’s Beatrice Agyemang adjudged Outstanding Broadcast Media CEO of the year

Vida Essel-LampteyThe Group Chief Executive Officer of Media General, owners of TV3 and its affiliate media stations, Mrs Beatrice Agyemang, has been adjudged the Outstanding Broadcast Media CEO of the year in the 2021 Ghana Entrepreneur & Corporate Executive Awards.
She was awarded for her sterling leadership of Ghana’s most successful media conglomerate which comprises TV3, 3FM 92.7, Onua FM 95.1, Akoma FM 87.9 in Kumasi, Connect FM 97.1 Takoradi, Onua TV, APL and MG Digital (3news.com).
In a virtual event, the Entrepreneurs Foundation of Ghana (EFG) honoured the country’s greatest entrepreneurs, business and corporate executives who have distinguished themselves over the years. In the Outstanding Broadcast Media CEO category, Beatrice Agyemang stood out.
“Our winner started off as a Broadcast Journalist and News Anchor, becoming the Managing News Editor and later rising to become the Chief Operations Officer and kept on her assent till she landed at her current position… She’s inspired by the daunting challenges that come with the journalism profession and her unquenchable thirst to overpower competitors while giving viewers unparalleled content”, the organisers acclaimed while declaring her winner on Saturday, May 22.
The event is an initiative of Entrepreneurs Foundation of Ghana (EFG), and sponsored by M & G Pharmaceuticals, McDan Foundation, Electrochem Ghana Ltd., JRA Cosmetics and Blowchem Industries.
Special Guests who joined the event virtually were Kathleen Csaba, Canadian High Commissioner; Dr. Daniel Mckorley, Executive Group Chairman-McDan Group; H.E. Selma Ashipala-Musavyi, Namibian High Commissioner; Sugandh Rajaran, Indian High Commissioner; Lim Jung-Taek, Korean Ambassador; and Ms. Grace Jeanet Mason, South African High Commissioner.
