Ministry of Health to recruit 22,062 Health Professionals

The Ministry of Health has announced that, after financial clearance from the Ministry of Finance, they would begin the recruitment of 22,062 health professionals into public health service delivery agencies.
The recruitment, done to fill the job gaps in the health agencies, would run from November 2nd to December 31st, 2020.
In a press statement sighted by GhanaPlus.com and signed by the Acting Chief Director of the Ministry of Health, Kwabena Boadu Oku-Afari, he said the online recruitment portal would be open to allow qualified applicants to apply by logging in to the Ministry of Health’s online portal http://hr.moh.gov.gh with their index number or PIN and to follow the instructions to select the preferred agency under the Ministry.
He added that 300 vacancies would be available to Pharmacy and Pharmacy Doctors to apply from November 2 to November 6.
“3,456 vacancies for Allied Health Professionals to apply from November 4 to November 15.
“And 18,307 vacancies for 2018 Professional Nurses either with Degree, Diploma and Certificate to apply from November 15 to December 31,” the Director added.
He stressed the need for applicants to be mindful of the opening and deadline dates and comply accordingly.
This recruitment exercise makes it the second this year as an earlier exercise was done in June 2020 for 8,056 applicants.
