A mother believed to be in her twenties (20’s) has hanged herself and her 3-year-old son at Adwoa in the Ahanta West Municipality of the Western Region.
The Unit Committee Chairman of Adwoa, Mr Robert Yankey confirmed this information to Skyy News and added that the victims are not natives of the Adwoa community.
According to him, some residents confirmed that they saw the victims in the community on Tuesday, January 17, begging for alms and the language she was speaking was Ga.
They however got the news on Wednesday morning that the mother has hanged her son and herself in an uncompleted building in the community.
At the time of writing this report, the police were at the scene carting the bodies to the mortuary for preservation.
