MTN donates cash, airtime and assorted drinks towards Essikado Kuntum Festival
MTN Ghana has presented a cheque for GHC 10,000, airtime worth 1,000 and some assorted liquor to the Omanhene of the Essikado Traditional Area in support of this years Kuntum festival celebrations.

The donation from MTN had become an annual ritual in support of the traditional area to remember their roots and relive history for the learning and admiration of the younger generation.
Speaking to the media at the sideline of the presentation on Friday, August 12, 2022, Mr Prince Owusu Nyarko, Senior Manager, South West Business District of MTN said the management of MTN believes in the tenets of upholding values, culture and heritage through the celebration of festivals.

He said festivals, have a lots to offer in terms of information and the transfer of traditional values.
Mr Nyarko said MTN is an African Company and it is only prudent that much attention is paid to unleashing the rich history of the African to inform development.
“As part of our partnership to the Essikadu Kuntum this year, MTN has set up it Experiential Centres at vantage locations within the Essikadu and we are giving distinct customer experience to our customers within the community. Aside this we also have a team moving from house to house to assist our customers again with the ongoing SIM registration”.
He however encouraged residents of Essikadu and it environs to visit their stands to experience the brand.

Nana Kobina Nketsia V, Omanahen of the Essikado Traditional Area, alluded to the continual support of the MTN Ghana towards the sustainability of the Kuntum festival. Adding that contributions of MTN to the society is enormous and they have shown their willingness to serve and do business with the people of Essikadu and Ghana at large.

He said the Paramouncy was impressed with the various innovations of the company particularly MTN’s Mobile Money Market that have given hope to the unbanked sector of the economy and now the MTN Experiential Centre that brings MTN a step closer to the customer.
