NDC is on Political Dialysis: Akufo Addo is holding the balls of double salary MPs

The former Special Prosecutor, Mr Martin Amidu has taken a swipe at the National Democratic Congress (NDC) caucus in Parliament and the party in general.

According to him, the largest opposition party was current on a political dialysis while the President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo held on to the balls(scrotum) of its MPs in Parliament and squeeze it every now and then to enable them do his bidding.

He indicated holding and squeezing a man’s balls had a way of affecting their mind and caused them to act in a bizarre manner and that was exactly what was happening with the NDC in Ghana’s hung and 8th parliament.

Martin Amidu’s epistle

Mr Amidu made the comment in his latest epistle “The MPs Double Salary Criminal Investigation Docket was Handled by the Attorney-General and never by Martin Amidu as Special Prosecutor: By Martin A. B. K. Amidu”.

His latest epistle sighted by GhanaPlus.com was in response to a report carried by the Daily Guide Network in which they indicated Mr Amidu failed to investigate NDC MPs accused in the double salary scandal which came to light in 2018 before his resignation some month ago.

Akufo-Addo holding the balls of theDouble Salary MPs

Citizen Vigilante as affectionately called wrote about the NDC and the President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo holding the balls of the Minority MPs this way.

“In researching this rejoinder article I came across a news report by mynewsgh.com on Ghana Web dated 31^st March 2021 with the heading: “Akufo-Addo ‘blackmailing ‘ NDC double salary MPs to do his bidding – Joy” which underpins the diversionary political propaganda being undertaken by the Office of the Attorney General and the Daily Guide Network. Mr. Jacob Osei Yeboah is reported to have asked a rhetorical question about what is happening in Parliament and answered as follows”:

“What’s Happening in the 8th Hung Parliament? Nana Addo is holding the balls of key double salary NDC’s MPs in the 8th Hung Parliament. You all know that when a man’s balls are being squeezed, his mind and actions are incoherently bizarre. So NDC rank and file be calm and understand Gen. Mosquito and Elders. .. NDC is now on Political Dialysis in the 8th Hung Parliament whilst Nana Addo keeps on squeezing the balls of all double salary NDC’s MPs and corrupt high ranking members intermittently. Can NDC survive till 2024?…,” he wrote.

Double Salary MPs

Some Members of the opposition National Democratic said to have taken the double salaries were the MP for the Elembele Comstituency and Former Minister of Energy and Petroleum, Mr Emmanuel Armah Kofi-Buah, MP for Kpone Katamanso and Former Greater Accra Minister, Nii Laryea Afotey Agbo, Minister in Charge of Social and Allied Institutions, Comfort Doyoe Cudjoe Ghansa.

Others were MP for Sagnerigu and Former Deputy Northern Regional Minister, A.B.A Fuseini, MP for Adansi Asokwa among others.
