Non-profit making organization held youth empowerment summit-mif.

Martha inspires foundation, a non-profit making organization has held it 7th edition of youth empowerment summit in Northern Region, Tamale at sanctuary of wind and fire AG auditorium.

The theme for the event was “connecting STEM/TVET education for economic development”.

The program was attended by students and the general public and many personalities came to share their experience pertaining to the topic.

Speaking at the event, Madam Fellicia Edem Attipoe the first female aircraft mar sheller in Ghana explained that, for a person to be able to make it, one has to be creative. Creative in a sense that, a person knows how to do multiple task.

According to her, she is happy about the double tack system in Ghana, because if student is on vacation for two to three mouths parents should take these opportunities to send their ward to learn hand work in other to sustain the economy.

She added that, students should learn how to grab opportunities because sometimes opportunities comes when one least expected of it and students should be prepared at any time to grab such opportunities.

“Opportunity they say comes at once. in other to be successful one should be able to think well, have a very good communication skills and the ability to socialized with people and be able to network”.

Again, prioritization of needs and want, schedules, keeping a do-to-do list, resting and at the end the person should know what he want to achieve in life.

Also, the director of business operations at dalex finance, Mr. Joe Jackson also explain that faithfulness and brevity plays an important role in todays generation.

The youth of nowadays uses their phones as a tool for entertainment which is causing more harm than good in the country.

He therefore advised the youth especially students to use their phones as an empowerment tool to help them aquire knowledge and not as a tool for failure .
