NSMQ 2021: My heart is with Keta, head with Prempeh, hand with PRESEC – Sefa Kai

Vida Essel-LampteyRenowned broadcast journalist and host of morning current affairs progrmamme on Peace FM, Kokrokoo, Kwame Sefa Kai has said he is torn between the three schools competing in this year’s National Math and Science Quiz finals.
Speaking on his programme on Wednesday, November 24, monitored by GhanaPlus.com he said although he is torn between the schools his heart is with Keta Senior High Technical School(SHTS).
“Right now am torn, heart Ketasco, head PRESEC, part of head Prempeh College. As for heart is Keta, head is PRESEC, hand is Prempeh Collage,” he said.
“And so I have my head with Prempeh, my hand with PRESEC and my heart is with Keta.As I said even if Keta doesn’t win, they are winners,” Mr Sefa Kai added.
Mr Sefa Kai made the comment when he and his panelist were reacting to the outcome of the 2021 National Math and Science Quiz inter senior high schools competition.
Prempeh College, PRESEC Legon and Keta SHTS through to NMSQ finals
Prempeh College, PRESEC Legon and Keta SHTS have qualified to the finals of the the 2021 National Maths and Science Quiz competition, an annual science and mathematics national level contest for senior high schools across the country.
The three schools made it out of 146 schools who contested in this year’s competition to reach the final.
PRESEC
PRESEC, an Accra base school and reigning champions are hoping to retain the title as 2021 “NMSQ Winners” and held on to the coveted trophy for the seventh time.
Prempeh College
Prempeh College also representing the royal Ashanti Region and four time winners are poise to snatch it from it current bearers to the region reach in gold and tradition.
They intend to make history of host and win as the competition is being held in the region for the very first time.
Keta SHTS
Keta Senior High Technical School, first timers and the first from the Volta Region to make it to the finals of the competition since its establishment, also hopes to make history and take the trophy to the hospitable and rich tourism land of Ghana.
They beat stiff competition from their competitors, Wesley Girls to reach the finals.
Keta SHTS already holds the bragging right of being the first from the region to ever reach the finals.
Again, they are also the holders of the AirtelTigo Highest Scorer Award, worth GHS3000.00 in this year’s competition.
Many are rooting for the school to win this year’s competition having won the hearts of Ghanaians.
