Nyankrom queen mother urges indigenes and public to frequently visit the township

The queen mother of the Nyankrom who is also the acting queen mother of the Shama traditional area, Nana Akosua Gyamfiaba II is entreating the general public special indigenes of Nyankrom to frequently visit their home since that is the land of their birth.
Speaking to Skyy News on the sidelines of Nyankrom Bronya, homecoming and thanksgiving, Nana Akosua Gyamfiaba expressed worry over how some Men of God discourage people from going home all in the name of some evil spirit dealing with them.
She said it’s the kind of life we lead that pave way for an evil spirit to destroy us and not visit our home town.
She said, “Big cities are also people’s hometowns and the indigenes are all living there with no problem, why are people always discouraged from going to their small towns.”
“People should not be discouraged from visiting their home town and such people who spread this information are only spreading fear and lies.”
According to her, we must all go home and support developmental projects in our home town so that tomorrow we will not be shy about taking people to visit our home.
She is however calling on the indigenes of Nyankrom in Shama to go and support the construction of a modern KVIP in the community.
“We should all come and support building the public toilet in the community, so that when visitors come to our town, it will not be a problem for them,” she added.
