Osei Kwame Despite is African Entrepreneur of the Year

The Founder Chief Executive Officer of the Despite Group of company, Dr Osei Kwame has been Despite has been adjudged Africa Entrepreneur of the Year at this year’s African Achieves Awards.
This year’s event, the 11th edition was held at the Kensington Palace in the UK on Friday, December 10.
Dr Kwame Despite son and General Manager of Despite Group of Companies, Kennedy Osei Asante shared the news on his Instagram page on Saturday, December 11.
“An Honour to Represent My Mentor, My Dad and Boss, DR OSEI KWAME (DESPITE) as Africa Entrepreneur of the year at the 11th African Achievers Awards held at the Kensington Palace in the UK.
In all things we give thanks to the Lord 🙏🏽
For God and Country 🙏🏽”, Mr Osei’s post sighted by GhanaPlus.com reads.
African Achievers Awards
African Achievers Awards is held annually to recognize individuals and organizations who have distinguished themselves in their various fields towards the growth and development of the African continent.
It was established in 2011 and have since honoured distinguish personalities and organisations across Africa including Ghana.
Ghanaian personalities such as the late President of Ghana, John Evans Fiifi Atta-Mills, renowned media personality and BBC’s Focus on Africa anchor, Komla Dufour, Chief Executive Officer of Zoomlion , Joseph Siaw Agyapong, Former First Lady, Lordina Mahama and actress Nadia Buari have all been honoured in various categories in the past.
