Western Regional Minister Mr Kwabena Okyere Darko-Mensah says government will not deny the people of Tarkwa Nsuaem their share of the national cake.
He said, the mining town contributes a lot to the development of the country and the leadership will not relent in making sure that the development of Tarkwa reflects in the mineral deposits that are mined for foreign exchange.
The minister who was speaking to Skyy news on the sidelines of the NPP Health Work in Tarkwa said a lot of projects are currently ongoing in the Constituency which includes the much talked about Agona Nkwanta to Tarkwa road.
He said, “Apart from the Nsuem AstroTurf, there is a stadium also being constructed and as the president said, we want to turn Tarkwa into the Johannesburg of Ghana.”
