Speaker of Parliament travels to Dubai again for medical review

The Speaker of Parliament, Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin has return to the United Arab Emirate’s Dubai for another medical review.
A letter dated January 6, and addressed to President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to inform him of his intended trip said he leave the shores of Ghana on January 7 and return on Sunday, January 23.
“I am writing to inform you of my absence from Ghana, from Friday, 7th January 22 till Sunday 23rd January, 2022 in order to honour an appointment for medical review in the United Arab Emirate,” the letter signed by the Speaker, Alban Bagbin said.

Speaker of Parliament travels to Dubai amidst budget rejection brouhaha
It could be recalled, the Speaker of Parliament, Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin in November last year undertook a similar trip to the united Arab Emirate and for medical review also.
The Speaker, departed from Accra on Saturday, November 2021 and return on December 14 in the company of four others including his wife.
“I have been directed by the Clerk of Parliament to inform you about arrival of the Speaker of Parliament Rt Hon. Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin, in Dubia to undergo a medical review”.
He will be accompanied by the following:
Mr Alice Adjuo Yamas : Spouse(Carer)
Dr Prince Kofi Pambo : Head Parliamentary Clinic
Ms Patience Bagbin : Speaker’s Secretary
Mr Justice Norvor : Speaker’s Aide
“Mr Speaker and his delegation will depart from Accra on Saturday, 27th November 2021 at 18: 50hours and arrive in Dubai at 6:20 hours on flight EK788 the next day”.
“They will depart Dubai on Tuesday 14th December 2021 at 7:35hours and arrive in Accra same day at 12: 05 on flight EK787”
“It would be appreciated if arraignment are made for the Speaker of his delegation to be met on arrival ad due courtesies extended to them,” the fax message signed by the Head Parliamentary Relations and Protocol, Sheba Nana Osei Afriyie to Head of Ghana’s Mission, UEA.
