Speeding driver kills two sisters who were preaching gospel in Takoradi
Information reaching Skyy Power 93.5FM indicates that two teenage girls who were on a mission to win souls for Jesus Christ have been killed by a speeding driver in Kansarodo, a suburb of the Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolis on Tuesday, November 23.
Speaking to the Assemblyman in the area, Mr Pascal Isaac Hagan made it known the victims, Abigail Quaicoo, 16, and Gloria Quaicoo, 14, including their family are members of the Pentecost Church at Ntankorful.
According to him, the victims including two adult female church members decided to go for evangelism at the Kansarodo area which in the process of their soul-winning met their untimely death.
He said, “They were standing on the pavement by the roadside preaching when the driver with an unregistered black saloon car on a top speed could not control the vehicle after taking a sharp curve.”
“The car first hit the two adult female church members before overlapping to hit the two sisters who died on the spot but the adults survived as the Effia-Nkwanta Hospital discharged them on that very day.”
Mr Hagan made it known he visited the Hospital to check on the victims but the driver has since been in an unconscious state.
Also, the Ghana Police was called to the scene to convey the body as it has been deposited at the Effia-Nkwanta Hospital for preservation.
