Stonebwoy’s Livingstone Foundation constructs 4 Boreholes in Western Region – Skyy Power FM

Stonebwoy‘s foundation which is specifically set up to take care of the social responsibility activities of the award-winning musician has embarked on another worthy cause.

The foundation has commissioned a borehole they constructed for the people of Borkor Awuku Kope, New Daboase Junction, Beposo Nkran and Antsemboa in the Shama District of the Western Region of Ghana.

The commissioning took place on Wednesday, June 14, 2023.

The musician and all the top members of his management team were on the grounds to commission the borehole.

The reason for this project according to Stonebwoy is that the community’s only reliable source of drinking water is the River Pra, but human actions, especially illegal mining (galamsey), operated by Chinese and other foreign nationals in Ghana, have hampered access to water, causing more severe health complications, hence building the boreholes.

This comes to add to the series of projects the foundation has done since its establishment.

Somewhere in September 2022, the Livingstone Foundation, which is managed by Stonebwoy’s adorable wife, Dr Louisa in partnership with the Duffuor Foundation, renovated the Trekume Basic School which is located at Trekume, a town near Stonebwoy’s hometown in Anloga.

The foundation has also paid for the bills of many mothers and children who were stranded at various hospitals because they had no money to settle the bills after their treatment.
