VIDEO: Rejected Juabeng MCE nominee demand refund of bride paid Assembly Members

Another scandal has hit the ongoing elections of Metropolitan, Municipal and District Chief Executive officers (MMDCEs) in the country as one of the President nominee had been captured demanding a refund of bribes paid to assembly members ahead of his approval.
The Juabeng MCE nominee, Mr Alex Sarfo Kantanka was caught on tape demanding some One Thousand Cedis(1,000.00) paid each assembly members the area.
The video making rounds on various social media platforms and sighted by GhanaPlus.com saw the Juabeng MCE nominee in a heated argument with one of the assembly members while demanding his money.
Report said he made the request after he was rejected for the second time by the assembly members.
CitiNewroom report, the Juabeng MCE confirmation election held on Monday, November 1, was characterized by a near chaotic process.

This year’s Metropolitan, Municipal and District Chief Executives elections have been characterized by several mishaps and legations of bribes, most especially.
Not long ago assembly members of the Cape Coast in the Central Region returned monies paid them by the President nominee, Mr Ernest Arthur.
They returned the money after the nominee was rejected for the second time.
