VIDEO : Siamese twin babies joined on the head, needs GH¢3m financial support to undergo surgery

Parents of Siamese twins and doctors at the Ridge Hospital in Accra are appealing to the public to help raise GH¢3m for surgery.

The two month old babies born to Mr Samuel Addo, a carpenter and Ms Justine Bansah, a seamstress were joined at birth on the head.

GhOne TV report the defect was only detected during a Caesarean section on the day of their delivery.

The report said over 30 high profile and experience medical doctors from top medical facilities in the country have been assembled to conduct the complicated procedure to separate the two and requires the amount to do so successfully.

Doctors say the twins needs to be separated as soon as possible to enable them go through the various stages of growth, ie siting, crawling  standing etc effectively and are therefore appealing to the general public to help raise the funds.
