Western Region is best place to site your company – Minister woos investors – Skyy Power FM

The Western Regional Minister Dr Kwabena Okyere Darko Mensah is calling on investors around the world to invest and site their companies in the Western Region.
He says the region is endowed with a lot of raw materials and resources that individuals and companies can rely on in terms of the production of their products.
This comes after the Marco Polo Tile Group through the Shama District Assembly of the Western Region presented 50 sets of Water Closets to the Western Regional Coordinating (WRCC)
The Minister said thanks to Marco Polo, the region is now a hub of sanitary wares which they are planning to supply to the rest of Ghana and throughout the rest of Africa through African Continental Free Trade (AfCFT).
He said the sanitary products being produced in the Western Region are one of the best in the world and urged investors to come and sight their companies in the Western Region.
He said, “Shama has all the living facilities that will make you comfortable in terms of schools and amenities.
“The government is also undertaking the 1D1F and the WRCC under our investment centre is also pushing the enterprise Western Region, which investor wants to invest in Ghana, this is the best place to be.”
General Manager of Marco Polo Tile Group, Mr Micahel Buabeng speaking during the presentation said, Marco Polo has employed about 300 workers in the region since the development of the first phase of the company and it will continue to help the Ghanaian community.
