Media General journalists have quizzed the where about of the their colleague and Onua FM/TV presenter, Blessed Godsbrain Smart, popularly known as  Captain Smart.

Captain Smart ‘missing’ from Nat’l Security custody

Captain Smart was reported missing from National Security custody on Thursday morning, barely 12hours he was taken by the state apparatus.

Said to be facing two respective counts of charges of extortion and abetment to extortion, the celebrated broadcaster was taken by the National Security shortly after he was granted bail by an Accra court on Wednesday, February 2.

He was however, nowhere to found when management of the media firm visited the National Security Offices early hours of Thursday to pay him a visit.

Speaking on TV3 NewDay  on Thursday, February 3, monitored by GhanaPlus.com, the morning show presenters, Jonnie Hughes, Bella Mundi and Cookie Tee said Captain Smart was nowhere to be found and quiz where he had been taken to.

They also asked the public to furnish them with any information of his where about if they had any adding “as at now we do not know Captain Smart’s where about”

Johnnie Hughes said “………….. Where is Captain Smart? that is the question the people are asking.  Where is he and what is possibly holding him. What was the whole charade between keeping him at the National Security headquarters and keeping him at the Ministries Police Station? What was it suppose to have been? Was it supposed to be at the National Security or was he supposes to be kept at the Ministries Police station. What is the standard operation procedure? and what does the court say? and could the court for example decide to hold the security operative responsible for contempt of court? All of these questions are coming out but the ultimate question is?

“Where is captain Smart” Jonnie Hughes, Bella Mundi and Cookie Tee quizzed in unison.

“And just to ask you out there, the public, perhaps, he has been released and we do not know . if you seen him roaming somewhere eating waakye or sucking on some coconut or chilling in some pool or something, if you find him let us know but as far as we do know and from what we can tell you and from what Richard Bright Addo has reported from the premises of the National Security, we do not know the where about of Captain Smart and we are asking you if you see him tell us. But we are asking this morning where is Captain Smart?,” Mr Hughes added.
