WR Deputy Secretary of NPP advises aggrieved youth to consult party executives than run to media



Mr Rex Johnfia, Deputy Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Western Region has cautioned some aggrieved youth to resort to the party committee for redress than to call for press conferences.

According to a press statement released by Concerned Grassroot Sekondi NPP Youth, only party favourites were informed when nominations for candidates was opened and also equal opportunity was not given for all during the vetting stage.

They indicated that only a few people were also informed about this important exercise.

Mr Johnfia speaking to Skyy News debunked the allegations and noted that the election process is progressing steadily without any hindrance.

He said, “The process is supposed to take 9 days and we are supposed to end on March 5, so far so good, areas that I have visited particularly my constituency which is Mpohor, the exercise is going on smoothly without any hindrance.

“We have heard pocket of issues, particularly the Sekondi Constituency, we have an electoral committee in the constituency and whatever grievance or concerns that they have, they should resort to the committee for redress.

“Calling for press conferences is not the way forward but rather go to the committees and put forward their issues and the committee will work to resolve this kind of issues.
