WR Minister’s driver accused of bolting with GHS17 million galamsey money speaks

The Western Regional Minister’s driver who was tagged as the prime suspect who bolted with GHS17 million has spoken for the first time.

Mr Franklin Osublonie, A.K.A Stagger speaking on the Jolly Breakfast Show on Friday, October 21 denied the allegations after it was alleged that he bolted with GHS17 million galamsey proceeds belonging to the Western Regional Minster, Dr Kwame Okyere Darko-Mensah.
This comes after Accra-based Star FM published a story dated October 19, 2022, with the headline “A Regional Minister collapses as his driver bolts with 17 million galamsey proceeds, driver is reported to be in Ivory Coast at the moment.“
After the publication of the story, the Regional Minister of the Western Region, Dr Kwabena Okyere Darko-Mensah was tagged to be the victim of the said theft.
Stagger who was suspected to have bolted with the money speaking on the show denied the said allegations and indicated that, if he had bolted to Cote Divoire with the money, then how then is he here in the studios of Skyy Power FM in Takoradi?
He has since denied the allegations and has described the story as false and fabricated to tarnish his image and that of the Regional Minister.
Stagger was accompanied by the aide of the Western Regional Minister, Mr Justice Acquah.
