2 MMDCE Nominees Confirmed In Central Region

So far, two Metropolitan, Municipal, and District Chief Executive (MMDCE) nominees for the Agona West Municipal and Gomoa Central District Assemblies in the Central Region have been confirmed.
They are Mr. Eric Gyamfi Odoom and Mr. Hackman Kobina Aidoo.
Before their nominations and confirmation, both served as Secretaries of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Agona West and Gomoa Central Constituencies, respectively.
Whereas Mr. Eric Gyamfi Odoom swept over two-thirds of the total votes cast by members of the Assembly, Mr. Hackman Kobina Odoom received one hundred per cent of the votes.
In his speech as the new Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for the Agona West Municipal Assembly, Mr. Odoom described his confirmation as a test case for him to work assiduously to ensure the development of the Municipality, as envisaged by the president.

He therefore called on all and sundry to help him work to achieve this aim.
On his part, the newly elected District Chief Executive for the Gomoa Central District Assembly, Mr. Hackman Kobina Aidoo, appealed to both supporters and non-supporters of the party to bury their political differences and help work towards the development of the District.
He assured that he would work with all to help elevate the district to the status that it deserves, in terms of development.
