In an open letter addressed to President-elect John Dramani Mahama, musician and Gomoa Central Member of Parliament-elect Kwame Asare Obeng, popularly known as A Plus, congratulated the former president on his electoral victory and shared his thoughts as Mahama prepares to take office on January 7.

A Plus commended Mahama for the unwavering confidence the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has consistently shown in his leadership, underscoring the party’s belief in his abilities and their repeated nominations of him as their presidential candidate.

“Your Excellency, this letter will not be burdened with advice, for if there is a man whose life has been a masterclass in leadership and resilience, it is you. You are, without question, Ghana’s luckiest and most experienced statesman,” A Plus wrote, offering high praise for Mahama’s experience and his steady leadership in the face of political challenges.

With the country now looking ahead to another term under Mahama’s leadership, A Plus’ words reflect the deep respect for the president-elect’s journey and his readiness to tackle the challenges ahead.

As Mahama prepares to assume the presidency once again, A Plus’ message serves as both a congratulatory note and a recognition of the significant responsibility Mahama carries in leading Ghana during a period of transition and national focus.
