Apologize to Ghanaians, we have a good heart, we will forgive you-Nana Addo told

Member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Lawyer Edudzi Tamekloe has urged the President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to own up as a man and apologize to Ghanaians over his alleged bribe tape scandal.
According to him, the video in which the president was caught on tape, accepting bribe irrespective of when it was recorded had put the president image in bad light internationally adding that in such situation the only hourable thing one could do was to apologize.
“Look, what you do decently is that you apologize, Ghanaians have a big heart, we forgive people, what you do is that you apologize that this was an indiscretion on your part,” the NDC Communication’s Member said.
“This is our president who today internationally, if you go to any international organization, his colleague presidents, Chairman ECOWAS, you have him on video taking money, what you do in this instance is that you come out and apologize to the people of this country that having taken an oath of office, I have undermine that oath of office” he stressed.
Mr Edudzi Tamekloe was speaking on TV3 Newday, monitored by GhanaPlus,com on Thursday, December 3.
He indicated that not only had the President undermined his office and his reputation but also made him a laughing stock across board.
“Today if our president travels internationally, all his colleague presidents, the president has become a bat of jokes on line, where people are trolling him over the 40, 000 challenge”.
Nana Addo caught in $40,000 bribery Scandal
The President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has been in the news over a video released by the opposition NDC in which the president was seen receiving money valued at ₵40,000.
The money the NDC said was in dollars and was meant to influence the President to shield the Director of Urban Roads in office.
