EC Deserves No Commendation – Hon Kwabena Akandoh

The Member of Parliament for Sefwi Juaboso Constituency who doubles as Ranking Member On Health, Hon Kwabena Akandoh, has stated that, the current EC does not deserve to conduct any election in the country because of her incompetence.

In his Media encounter, Hon Akandoh noted that the EC’s biased posture in resolving complaints by the opposition National Democratic Congress concerning irregularities in the national electoral register and allegations of conflict of interest is a recipe for disaster.

According to him, several known partisan politicians currently employed and working at the Electoral Commission headquarters could aid the ruling New Patriotic Party to rig the presidential and parliamentary elections on December 7.

Hon Kwabena Akandoh appealed to the National Peace Council and other stakeholders to urge the EC’s chairperson, Madam Jean Adukwei Mensa, to ensure the credibility of the electoral register before the December 2024 general elections.
