Give me my expulsion letter so I can advise myself

The expelled member of the National Democratic Congress(NDC), Mr Samuel Koku Anyidoho has officially written to the General Secretary of the party, Mr Johnson Aseidu Nketia to request for his expulsion letter to enable him advise himself on what next to do.

A letter sighted by Ghanaplus.com and dated August 2 said “without serving me with any document, per your voice and body language  made so many disparaging comments about my supposed ‘expulsion’  from the NDC; and gone further to make incendiary remarks about my working relationship with the late President Atta-Mills.

“Respectfully Sir, I am please requesting for the ‘expulsion’ letter for my perusal to enable me advice  myself on the subsequent action(s) that I need to take,” the letter added.

The letter was copied to the party’s Chairman, Mr Samuel Ofosu Ampofo,  Council of Elders, the National Executive Committee , the Functional Executive Committee and all sixteen regional chairmen of the NDC.

It was also copied to the Speaker of Parliament, Mr Alban Bagbin, Minority Leader in Parliament, Mr Haruna Iddrisu, Volta Regional Caucus in Parliament and Council of State member, Mr E.T Mensah.

Koku Anyidoho expelled from the NDC

The former Deputy General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress(NDC), Mr Koku Anyidoho was expelled from the party on Tuesday, July 27 after the party’s Functional Executive Committee found him guilty of charges of misconduct and anti-party behavior.

 The committee’s report (which is attached for your perusal) found you guilty of the allegations of misconduct and anti party behavior and recommended your outright expulsion from the party” the statement dated July 27 sighted by GhanaPlus.com read.

“The Functional Executive Committee (FEC), acting in compliance of article 48(1) of the NDC constitution unanimously adopted the report and accepts full responsibility for your expulsion from the party”.

“You, are, therefore by the decision of FEC expelled from the National Democratic Congress and for that matter, you are no more recognized as a member of the party and cannot carry yourself as such,it added.

His expulsion came in some six month after he was suspended over the allegations in a two separate complaints filed against him by two members of the party.

Koku Anyidoho left us with no option

Speaking on TV3 Midday News monitored by GhanaPlus.com, Mr Aseidu Nketia said Mr Anyidoho left the party with no choice other than to expel him adding that he evaded all opportunity given him by the disciplinary committee of the party to defend himself of the said allegations.

He noted the latter rejected letters sent to him via courier services and failed to respond to others sent him via WhatApp, emails and test messages.

……..They have tried all the means. If you have read the report, we did, they use ordinary letters, he refuse to accept it. It was sent by courier which has been receipted and he actually indicated that he will not accept the letter on two occasions. As for WhatsApp email messages and email messages, several of them so they came to the conclusions that he was simply evading and so they then draw the conclusion and recommended his expulsion”.
