The Member of Parliament for the Ningo-Prampram Constituency, Sam George Dzata has said that his constituents are aware of his responsibility as MP hence he doesn’t make promises of bringing development to them.

“One thing I have learnt to do from 2016 when I contested for the first time was not to make promises that are outside my remit. As a member of parliament, I always tell my people one thing when I meet them and is to ask them how do you say MP that In Ga-Dangme?, they say ‘Mmela worlor’ and when you translate it means lawmaker”.

“So I say to them I am a lawmaker, I am not an agent of development and so I don’t go promising development to my people” he added.
