NDC Acknowledges Imperfections in 2024 Manifesto, Stresses Feasibility of Promises
The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has conceded that its 2024 manifesto has flaws but maintains that it presents practical and achievable policies for Ghana’s future.
Fiifi Fiavi Kwetey, the party’s general secretary, made this admission during the manifesto launch in Winneba, Central Region, on Saturday, August 24.
Kwetey emphasized that while the manifesto may not be perfect, it outlines commitments the party believes are within reach.
“Our manifesto, like those in the past, consists of promises and policies that we are confident we can achieve,” Kwetey stated. “We will focus on what is feasible and differentiate our approach from that of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).”
Kwetey acknowledged the manifesto’s limitations but assured the public that the party was open to feedback and willing to make necessary adjustments.
“The manifesto we present today is not intended to be flawless. However, we promise that the leadership, including John Mahama, is committed to listening to feedback and making necessary improvements,” Kwetey concluded.
