NDC Bigwig Supports Sefwi Akontombra Parliamentary Candidate
Lawyer Barbra Serwaa Asamoah the deputy general secretary of the National Democratic Congress paid a visit to the people of Sefwi Akontombra Constituency in the Western North Region.
Referring to the NDC’s chances of winning the December 7 general election, Lawyer Barbra Serwaa Asamoah said, “When we look at the massive welcome and reception that the people of Sefwi Akontombra have shown them in the constituency, everything tells us that they are going to withdraw their votes from the ruling NPP to the National Democratic Congress and also vote for Hon Pious Kwame Nkuah, the NDC’s Parliamentary Candidate in the constituency.”
She added, “Ever since I met Hon Pious Kwame Nkuah 17 years ago, he has proved loyal and patriotic when it comes to serving the party and his people.”
Lawyer Barbra Serwaa Asamoah visited 11 communities and 19 polling stations where she donated Lacoste, bearing the image of Hon Pious Kwame Nkuah, to the people in the communities.
Mrs. Beatrice Agyekum, a co-member of the NDC 31st Women Association, noted that the Sefwi Akontombra Constituency was NDC’s stronghold until some internal misunderstanding rocked the party, causing disappointment among the constituents who rejected the NDC and voted the NPP into power for a change. She promised to work hard and rally support for Hon Pious Kwame Nkuah to win the Sefwi Akontombra parliamentary seat in the December 7 Polls.
Mrs. Beatrice Agyekum appealed to NDC sympathizers and well-meaning constituents to support Hon Pious Kwame Nkuah’s campaign efforts.
