NPP Parliamentary Candidate Dennis Amfo Sefah Receives Cash Donation from UK-Based Daniel Mensah
UK-based businessman Daniel Mensah Komieter JNR has made a generous cash donation to support the parliamentary campaign of Dennis Amfo Sefah, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) candidate for Tema West, ahead of Ghana’s 2024 general elections.
The undisclosed amount was handed over on behalf of Daniel Mensah Komieter JNR by Bawa B Ustarz, also known as Sir Bawa, the Deputy Nasara Coordinator for Tema East, and the Secretary of Friends of Bawumia (FOB).
Dennis Amfo Sefah, who is widely known as Nana Boakye, expressed his deep gratitude for the donation and extended his prayers for the continued prosperity of Daniel Mensah Komieter JNR, thanking him for his unwavering support for the NPP.
Coordinating the donation, Sir Bawa urged the Tema West parliamentary candidate to continue working diligently to retain the seat for the NPP in the upcoming December 7 elections.
He also praised the efforts of Dennis Amfo Sefah’s campaign team, particularly Constituency Chairman Kwesi Poku, affectionately called “City Chairman,” for their dedication and urged them to maintain their unity and focus.
The donation event was attended by key figures, including Ahmed and Sheila Komieter, Mr. Joseph Saka, and Jibril Mairiga, who joined Sir Bawa in making the presentation.
This donation follows a series of contributions by Daniel Mensah Komieter JNR to the NPP’s campaign in Tema.
Just weeks ago, he donated campaign materials, including T-shirts and posters, to support the parliamentary candidates in Tema Central and Tema East. The items were also presented by Sir Bawa and received by Hon. Yohane Amarh Ashitey, the Mayor of Tema and NPP candidate for Tema East, and Hon. Charles Forson, NPP parliamentary candidate for Tema Central.
Daniel Mensah Komieter JNR’s consistent support of the NPP extends back to his time in Ghana, where he served as the first elected Ashiboi Electoral Area Coordinator and held key positions within the party. Now based in the UK, he remains an active supporter of the NPP, holding positions such as Greater Manchester Communication Director and a member of the Young Executive Forum (YEF), a professional wing of the NPP that provides financial backing to the party.
Both Dennis Amfo Sefah and previous recipients of Mr. Komieter’s donations have praised him for his invaluable contributions to their campaigns, emphasizing the importance of such support during the election season.
They called on other party members to follow his lead in contributing to the NPP’s efforts to secure victory in the upcoming elections.
