NPP serial callers in Anhwiaso Bekwai received smartphones
The Western North Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr William Benjamin Assuah has advised serial callers of the party to undertake their political careers devoid of insults and mockery.
He also asked them to exercise restraint when their expectations were not met but use appropriate channels to have their grievances resolved.
Mr Assuah gave the advice when he presented smartphones to serial callers of the party in the Sefwi Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Constituency at Bibiani.
Additionally, he announced that all 80 serial callers in the Region would be provided with monthly airtime packages as a way of acknowledging their contributions to the party.
The move, according to Mr. Assuah was not to ensure his re-election as Regional chairman as being purported but formed part of an initiative to effectively resource the serial callers to work towards retaining the party in 2024.
He noted that, though the serial callers played a key role in the party, they were often not motivated, hence the decision to provide them with smartphones to acknowledge their efforts.
Mr Assuah further had extensive discussions on job opportunities for the serial callers after which he admonished them to be patient.
Mr Felix Foster Ackah, Regional Communications Director, and a Presidential Staffer schooled the serial callers on the modalities and protocols in doing party work.
He encouraged them to be diligent, desist from the blame game, and tarnishing the image of the other party faithful to get a favour.
Using himself as an example, Mr Ackah said he did not lose trust in the system after failed attempts to become the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE).
However, he kept his gaze and continued to work hard for the party which ultimately earned him the Presidential Staffer position.
Mr Samuel Adu-Agyei and Mr Bright Appiah, the Regional Organizer and Regional Research Officer respectively urged the serial callers to keep their focus and join forces and ensure victory for the party in the next elections.
The serial callers expressed their gratitude and thanked the Regional Chairman for recognizing their efforts and coming to their aid.
