NPP Vice-Presidential Candidate Pledges Commitment to Bawumia’s Presidency

Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) vice-presidential candidate for the 2024 general elections, has affirmed his unwavering commitment to support Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the party’s presidential candidate.
Affectionately known as ‘NAPO,’ Dr. Prempeh pledged to dedicate himself fully to ensuring Dr. Bawumia’s success in the presidential race.
Addressing a mini-party rally in Mankranso, Ahafo Ano South West, Dr Prempeh emphasized his intent to replicate the loyalty shown by Dr Bawumia to President Nana Akufo-Addo during his two terms in office.
“I will faithfully serve my boss, Alhaji Dr. Bawumia, for eight years so that he will become the next president of Ghana,” Dr. Prempeh declared.
He drew a parallel between his commitment and Dr. Bawumia’s service to President Akufo-Addo, noting the collaboration between a Muslim northerner and a Christian Akyem.
“In the same way, I (NAPO), a Christian and an Asante, will also faithfully serve my boss, Alhaji Dr Bawumia, for eight years to enable him to become our country’s next president,” he added.
Dr. Prempeh, who emphasized his background of serving in a palace, promised to deliver exemplary support to Dr. Bawumia, underscoring his readiness to assist in achieving the presidential candidate’s goals.
He confidently predicted Dr Bawumia’s victory in the upcoming December 7 elections, urging voters to support the NPP.
“Dr. Bawumia will become our next president, and his administration will implement better policies that will expedite the transformation of our country,” Dr. Prempeh assured.
