Prince David Osei Urges Ghanaians to Support NPP, Warns Against Alternative Options
Actor Prince David Osei has strongly advocated for voting for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the upcoming December elections, asserting that any alternative would lead Ghana into significant turmoil.
Speaking at the NPP’s manifesto launch on Sunday, August 18, Osei emphasized his belief that the NPP is the only viable option for the country’s progress. He warned that choosing any other party would result in disaster, framing the NPP as the pathway to national prosperity.
“The alternative is not the solution. The alternative will send us into an abyss of disaster. Vote for progress, vote for Bawumia, vote for Matthew Opoku Prempeh as the incoming president,” Osei declared.
While acknowledging the current economic difficulties, Osei highlighted that such challenges are part of a broader global trend.
He pointed out that major economies, including the UK, the US, and Canada, are facing similar issues and noted that neighbouring Nigeria is also experiencing economic hardship.
“I know times are hard, but it is a global phenomenon. The UK is just recovering from a recession, America is struggling, Canada is tough, and our neighbouring country Nigeria is equally tough,” he added.
Osei’s comments underscore his support for the NPP’s agenda and his belief in the party’s ability to lead Ghana through the current economic climate.
