Koose Recipe – How to Make Ghana Koose or Nigeria Akara

BarbaraKoose or Koosay, which is also known by some people as Bean Cake is widely eaten in Ghana mostly as a snack. Often in the early mornings, it goes very well with Hausa Koko, a local porridge in Ghana. In Nigeria, it is known as Akara. The video tutorial by Sweet Adjeley explains the step by step process to make the best Ghana Koose or Nigeria Akara.
Ingredients needed to prepare Koose (Koosay)
2cup – Black Eye Beans
1/4 of a Medium Size Onion
1/2 of a Scotch Bonnet or Habanero pepper
2 – Scallions (Optional)
2-4tbsp of Water or a little more if needed
Salt
Oil
