2024 Polls: Be tolerant irrespective of the provocation – Ghanaians advised
Hajia Sa-adatu Mustapha Mohammed popularly known in the music scene as Hajia Police has called for tolerance against provocation during and after the 2024 polls.
During a one-on-one interview with Amansan Krakye, the Afro-Islam singer and pioneer said people should be prepared against teasing and insults when their candidates do not win.
She remarked “We should all go and vote peacefully and after voting go home quietly and when you get home just try and listen to the election results but if your candidate doesn’t win just give it to God.
“When the results are announced and your candidate wins that one too we give it to God but we need to be tolerant against provocation in case people tease you when you don’t win.
“Always remember that somebody might provoke you and if it happens don’t react even if you are being mocked and insulted after the results have been announced,” she said on Cape Coast’s Property FM.
She advised, “When you keep such a thing in your mind you won’t let the teasing bother you and even if your candidate is being insulted you won’t be angered to assault the person”.
