2Baba’s son, Nino Idibia, graduates from the same Bible Institute as his mom

Nino Idibia, the first son of Nigerian music legend Innocent “2Baba” Idibia and motivational speaker Sunmbo Adeoye, has successfully completed the Maturity Bible Course at the Royalty Life Development Institute — a milestone that mirrors his mother’s journey from nearly two decades ago.

Sunmbo took to Instagram to share the news, reflecting on what she called a “life-transforming” experience she had 18 years earlier at the same institution.

“18 years ago, I took this life-transforming course at Royalty Christian Centre. Today, I watched my son @ninoidibia graduate from the same Royalty Life Development Institute as one of the best students of the May 2025 Maturity Bible Course — and I am overwhelmed with gratitude,” she wrote.

What made the moment more striking was the fact that Sunmbo herself is now a faculty member at the same institute. She highlighted how the journey from being a student to becoming a mother and mentor has reinforced the power of consistency and legacy.

“From student to faculty, and now a proud mother, this full-circle moment is a testimony to the power of consistency, vision, and legacy,” she shared.

The event, held under the auspices of Royalty Christian Centre, saw Nino don a graduation gown and medal, flanked by his mother and faculty leadership, including Pastor Solomon Ughulu.

His achievement as one of the standout students of the program has been met with admiration both online and within the ministry community.

Sunmbo took time to appreciate the leadership and vision of the institute. “Thank you Pastor Solomon Ughulu and the entire institute team for stewarding such excellence. I’m especially grateful to our president and founder, Pastor David Adeoye, for being a true visionary,” she stated.

The significance of Nino’s graduation goes beyond family pride. It marks a generational thread woven through faith, leadership, and development.

With a firm foundation built on Christian values and academic discipline, Nino’s achievement reflects the guiding principles of the institute and the mentorship of his mother.

Sunmbo concluded her heartfelt note with a simple but powerful sentiment: “I am the happiest and most grateful to God.”
