Akosua Ago Aboagye resigns from Despite Media after 20 years


After two decades with Despite Media, seasoned broadcaster Akosua Ago Aboagye has officially announced her resignation.
In an emotional farewell message shared on social media, she expressed gratitude for the experience, support, and love she received throughout her career with the media giant.
“Today, I invite you all to join me in expressing a heartfelt thank you to Despite Media for two incredible decades… It is with a mix of emotions that I announce my official resignation,” she wrote.
Akosua Ago Aboagye also extended appreciation to her audience, acknowledging their unwavering support over the years.
“I am deeply grateful for each of you who has followed my journey and supported my brand. Your encouragement has been invaluable,” she added.
While she did not disclose details about her next move, she hinted at exciting opportunities ahead, urging her followers to stay tuned.
Her departure marks the end of an era at Despite Media, where she has been a familiar and respected voice in Ghanaian broadcasting.
