All We Know About Tim Westwood’s alleged sexual misconduct
Celebrated Radio Dj Tim Westwood is alleged to have been involved in serious sexual abuses from 1992 to 2017.
These allegations are contained in a documentary by the BBC and the Guardian.
These allegations were made by 7 women who encountered the Dj in his line of work.
However, Tim Westwood denies vehemently the allegations levelled against his person and insists they are untrue.
This is not the first time such allegations have been made against the former BBC Radio 1 DJ as he in a statement denied similar claims in 2020.
Two of the women who spoke to the BBC on the abuse they suffered at the hands of Tim Westwood said they agreed to come to London to meet him for a discussion on music. They said the Dj drove them to a flat and initiated unwanted and unexpected sex. One was 19 at the time while Tim Westwood was 53.
Another woman said she met Tim Westwood while he was in his mid-30s and she was 17. She was then a member of an R&B group then. She tells BBC she was subjected to unwanted Oral sex after agreeing to meet the Dj.
Four others allege that the Dj either touched their bottoms or breasts as they posed for photographs with him at several events where he performed.
The BBC says these women who were interviewed have had their names changed and they do not know each other.
