Any artiste who can’t perform to live band not qualified as a musician
Popular Highlife musician, Kofi Nti born Theophilus Kofi Nti has stated that doing music without live performance isn’t music so playing with a live band is always better than miming.
He said, “Playing with a live band is better than miming because that helps people to really know that you are truly the composer of the song so I will say that music without performing live isn’t music”.
Speaking on the Kastle Entertainment Show, Kofi Nti has therefore charged all musicians to learn how to perform with a live band in order to sustain their career in the music industry.
“I will charge every musician to learn how to perform with a live band because I have been in the music industry sometime now,” he added on Cape Coast’s Kastle FM.
“But due to my ability to perform with live band, at least every week or two I’m billed to perform somewhere so I always get shows to perform for a fee,” he told Amansan Krakye in an interview.
He continued “At least most programs that are organized with a live band do invite me on a regular basis and it also helps me to get some money”.
