Appietus likens Church Instrumentalists to the ‘Devil’
Famous Ghanaian sound engineer and music producer Nana Appiah Dankwah popularly known as Appietus has described instrumentalists in various churches as the Devil himself who used to sing praises to God in Heaven.
“The Devil was able to put cords together, seven in one voice and let God come from the dome of domes”, Appietus said this on TV XYZ in an interview on the show “The Legends”.
The response came from Appietus after he was asked why instrumentalists do not pay much attention to sermons in church.
When asked why most instrumentalists do that, Appietus said “What was the work of the devil in heaven? It was music. He was able to put cords together seven in one voice and let God come from the dome of domes. There was nothing the Angels could do to let God come, but Lucifer was able to do that. That was he had a swollen head. So, we the instrumentalists call the Holy Spirit to descend”. He said in his interview monitored by MyNewsGH.com.
According to him, their role in the church is so important and lively to the extent that people hardly get bored when they are ministering or singing.
“Sometimes people get bored and sleep in church whiles the pastor is preaching. But people find it very difficult to sleep in church when instrumentalists carry on with their praises and worship”, he emphasized.
“Our ministry is special and I know the pastors will attack me”.
