Barack’s tardiness used to drive me crazy – Michelle Obama opens up

Michelle Obama has revealed one of her long-standing pet peeves about her husband, former President Barack Obama—his chronic lateness.
Speaking on the debut episode of her new podcast IMO alongside her brother Craig Robinson, Michelle admitted that Barack’s habit of running behind schedule used to frustrate her in the early years of their marriage.
“I’d be ready to go, and Barack would be like, ‘Oh, let me just grab my glasses,’ or ‘I need to use the bathroom real quick.’ It used to drive me crazy,” Michelle shared, adding that over time, he has improved.
Her lighthearted confession comes at a time when speculation about the couple’s marriage has been swirling.
Recent reports have suggested tension between the two, with Michelle reportedly feeling unhappy about certain aspects of their life in Washington, D.C.
However, the former first couple continues to show public displays of affection, with Barack recently sharing heartfelt tributes to Michelle on her birthday and Valentine’s Day.
Michelle’s podcast aims to offer a more personal glimpse into her life, featuring candid conversations about family, relationships, and the lessons she has learned along the way.
While the divorce rumours persist, this latest episode shows that the Obamas are still keeping things real—just as they always have.
